So I was putting my dishes in the dishwasher when I heard my parents talking. My mom said something about Ginko Baloba. I thought she said "kinko baloba." So I said, "Kinko baloba? Is that like a store that photocopies your memory?" The best thing about it was that it made my sister laugh. And she wasn't just laughing at my stupidity. She was laughing because it was funny. I think.

Last night my sister and I left the house at midnight to go to the movie theater. We got there and hung around for a while, then we went with her friend Ellen to the marquee and changed the movie names. We went back up to the theater...hung around for a while, changed the movie signs above each of the theaters, had a few ice cream sandwiches...Then at about 2:30 we went in to see MIB II before it even came out in theaters. Ha ha. The movie got out at around 4. Then I went home. It was fun though.

I remember in 2nd grade there was a lot of controversey surrounding Alanis Moresette. Kids at my school just kept talking about her. No one could get over the fact that she had at least one curse word in EVERY SINGLE one of her songs. You can only imagine what it was like when one of my friends decided to be Alanis for Halloween. Mass chaos.

I went to Sea World a few days ago. They have a sea lion show there. I saw it. There was a part in the show when they played "Wake me up before you go-go" by Wham! and I got really excited. My friends and I have a little inside joke/obsession about that song. When I got home I left a frantic message on my friend Danielle's voice mail telling her that I had heard it. She hasn't called me back. I hope she saved it. But I hope even more that I have the right number. Because that's the second message I've left about "Wake me up before you go-go" on that voicemail box.
